Katie Burdon is a photographer currently based in London, hailing from Cornwall.
Interested in exploring the human body in relation to the natural form, a strong focus on the
female gaze is maintained throughout her work. Katie aims to represent the protagonists in her
imagery as interesting, intelligent, strong characters. Intimacy being a key aspect of her work,
Katie is in her element drawing character out of her subjects and representing identity within
her imagery. Through a juxtaposition of colour and storytelling with surreal undertones, she
aims to bring curiosity and observance to her vision.
Katie has worked with clients such as Sex & Cancer, Libresse, Breast Cancer Awareness and
Zalando.
Katie is with Academy for photography representation as well as direction.
