Katie Burdon

Katie Burdon is a photographer currently based in London, hailing from Cornwall.  Interested in exploring the human body in relation to the natural form, a strong focus on the female gaze is maintained throughout her work. Katie aims to represent the protagonists in her imagery as interesting, intelligent, strong characters. Intimacy being a key aspect of her work, Katie is in her element drawing character out of her subjects and representing identity within her imagery. Through a juxtaposition of colour and storytelling with surreal undertones, she aims to bring curiosity and observance to her vision. Katie aims to challenge fashion’s obsession with perfection, or rather, what is perceived as perfect within the industry.

Katie has worked with clients such as Sex & Cancer, Libresse, Breast Cancer Awareness and Zalando. Katie is with Academy for photography representation as well as direction.
