Garth Davis’ latest feature film Mary Magdalene in cinemas now.

Garth follows up on the great success of his 2016 Oscar Nominated drama Lion by taking on a humanistic portrait of one of history’s most misunderstood spiritual figures.

The biblical biopic tells the story of the young woman who defied tradition and hierarchy in order to follow Jesus of Nazareth’s radical social movement.

The film stars Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix, and posthumously features Jóhan Jóhannson’s last ever score.
