Ikea By Jakob Marky
Jakob Marky has just completed a film for Ikea through Forsman & Bodenfors in Sweden. The film marks 70 years since Ikea first opened its doors, showing real people in their homes celebrating authentic, yet ordinary every day lives.
In tandem with casting non-actors in their actual homes, the film used only natural light and no set design. This ‘Dogme’ approach gives a warm identity to the brand that perhaps some feel it lacks.
