Cannes Debrief

On the Thursday morning of Cannes, Chris & Luke (Us) were summoned to the Palais as their work for the Sunday Times was included in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director Showcase.  Thursday got even better when at the Young Director Award, fellow Academite / Baconeer Martin Werner presented the boys with a Gold Award for Best Broadcast Commercial.

Saturday evening came around, and the boys picked up a Bronze Lion in film at the main event.  Not a bad Cannes debut!

Overall Academy’s directors faired well, with both Martin De Thurah and Martin Werner winning two silvers and a bronze each (for Hennessy and Jack & Jones) and Seb Edwards’ Lacoste picking up a silver.
